Dia-Grid Diamond Discs feature diamond particles nickel-plated (Metal Bond) or secured by resin (Resin Bond) in a unique raised matrix that enhances cooling of the sample, provides increased cutting rates and allows efficient removal of debris. They are extremely durable and long lasting, and provide excellent edge retention and sample flatness.

Metal Bonded Recommended for grinding encapsulated samples of hard-to-grind materials including ceramics, composites, carbides and metal matrix composites.

Resin Bonded Recommended for grinding encapsulated samples of a wide variety of materials in place of silicon carbide grinding papers prior to coarse or intermediate polishing.
