Metal and Resin Bonded Diamond Discs are used when preparing hard-to-grind materials such as high-alumina ceramic, tungsten carbide, quartz, sapphire and hardened metals in the range above 60 Rockwell C. Listed product is adhesive backed. Canvas and Plain Back are also available.

Metal Bonded Diamond Discs have diamond particles held firmly in place on a rigid backing by electroplated, erosion resisting nickel for maximum bond strength and heat dissipation.

Resin Bonded Diamond Discs produce the same flatness and dimensional accuracy as Metal Bond with a slightly finer finish grade-for-grade. Recommended for hard, fragile materials.
