Type 52 Film is used when a good quality high contrast is necessary
at higher magnification. This film requires an emulsion to be applied
after the picture is taken in order to develop.
PolarPan400/Type 72 Film is the coaterless version of Type 52 Film.
It is not necessary to apply emulsion for developing, but some contrast
is sacrificed.
Type 53 Film is a black and white film similar to PolaPan400. Image
processing speed is faster, which can provide a slightly sharper
image depending on the amount and type of illumination.
Type 55 Film offers a negative with each exposure, which may be
helpful for photo reproduction and/or enlargement without sacrificing
resolution.
